Abstract: In this paper, we consider the viscoelastic wave equation with nonlinear boundary damping and source term. This work is devoted to prove the existence of solutions and uniform decay rates of the energy without imposing any restrictive growth assumption on the damping term and weakening the usual assumptions on the relaxation function.

Keywords:  Viscoelastic wave equation, boundary damping term, source term, relaxation function.
