Abstract
The purpose of this special volume of the DCDS is to honor Peter
Kloeden on the occasion of his 60th birthday, and to recognize his
scientific accomplishments. We know that he will continue to provide
enlightening and fascinating contributions to Mathematics and to
allied fields.
It is not possible in the space available to give a detailed
description of his work. Therefore, we will only give a brief
summary, highlighting some of the themes he has taken up and the
results he has obtained.
