Abstract

We dedicate this Special Issue to the Memory of Professor Xiaoling Sun (1963-2014) who passed away on April 24, 2014. Professor Sun was a leading scholar in optimization and its applications in operations research and financial engineering. He served as Vice-President of both the Chinese Mathematical Programming Society and the Operations Research Society of China.
