Electronic Research Announcements in Mathematical Sciences was formerly known as Electronic Research Announcements of the American Mathematical Society (details at AMS). It was published by the American Mathematical Society from 1995 to 2007 and was bestowed upon the American Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in 2007. AIMS published the journal from 2007 to 2021.

This journal, after a title change, has been continued as Electronic Research Archive since the end of 2019. The journal then transitioned to being published by AIMS Press as an Open Access journal in 2022. For ease of access, articles published from 2019-2021 under the current title are available on the AIMS Press website.

Electronic Research Announcements in Mathematical Sciences rapidly publishes original and expository articles of significant advances in all branches of mathematics. All articles should be designed to communicate their contents to a broad mathematical audience and must meet high standards for mathematical content and clarity.  After review and acceptance, articles enter production for immediate publication.
